My Story
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I began my journey with a background in communications and advertising. Though I briefly worked in the advertising world, I quickly realized it wasn’t the path for me. I moved to Tennessee in search of something more meaningful and spent a year in the restaurant industry, discovering more about myself and what truly mattered.
After getting married, I settled in Florida, where I spent ten years working in a school setting. It was there that I found my true calling—supporting children and families. That passion led me to Canada, where I returned to school and earned a degree in Special Care Counselling.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a diverse range of people—from elders to elementary and high school students, including children with learning, physical, and intellectual disabilities. Today, I continue this work, supporting children in an elementary school setting.
Writing has always been a quiet dream. I’ve longed to read to children, to share stories that heal, inspire, and spark imagination. Now, as a self-published author, that dream is becoming reality—creating books for both children and adults, grounded in empathy, encouragement, and a deep love for storytelling.
